Soutenir la croissance internationale

Cette acquisition, qui a servi d’assise à la création d’ASTEC Digital, permet aujourd’hui à l’entreprise de proposer un portefeuille de solutions technologiques de pointe sur le marché nord-américain, mais aussi en Europe et sur des marchés émergents grâce à la création d’ASTEC Digital France (anciennement ERMIIS, une filiale de MINDS depuis 1986). « La tendance est à la croissance, notamment à l’export », explique Sylvain Lemouzy, son directeur général. « Nous étions déjà actifs dans ce domaine, mais l’intégration à ASTEC Digital nous a permis de nous doter d’un véritable bureau d’exportation, dont les activités représentent actuellement 20 à 25 % de notre chiffre d’affaires », précise-t-il.

Développement et collaboration : une formule gagnante

Si le marché européen est déjà bien développé, ASTEC Digital France, qui est responsable de la distribution des technologies d’ASTEC Digital hors de l’Amérique du Nord, a réalisé de belles percées en Australie, en Amérique latine, en Afrique du Sud et au Maroc. De plus, la collaboration entre le bureau de l’hexagone et celui des États-Unis a permis d’unifier une offre technologique qui comprend des solutions de pointe comme LiveLoader, LiveTank, PlantManager et plusieurs autres. « En leur permettant de suivre en temps réel l’état de leur centrale et de la fabrication, ces applications sont un vrai plus pour nos clients et nous donnent une longueur d’avance sur nos concurrents », indique Sylvain Lemouzy.

Des produits uniques et performants

Par ailleurs, les systèmes d’automatisation déployés par ASTEC Digital offrent une grande souplesse d’adaptation, ce qui les rend particulièrement attractifs pour l’industrie. « Nous sommes un leader dans ce domaine, car nous avons su prendre le meilleur de ce que la concurrence offrait et nous avons optimisé nos solutions pour qu’elles puissent s’adapter à toutes les marques et tous les types de centrales », mentionne M. Lemouzy. 

Cap sur l’avenir

Avec un portefeuille intégré de technologies avancées et d’outils intelligents de classe mondiale soutenu par l’expertise d’une équipe chevronnée, l’avenir s’annonce prometteur pour ASTEC Digital. D’autant que les bureaux des deux côtés de l’océan travaillent actuellement à la mise en place d’un service de TI commun qui sera chargé de continuer de perfectionner les applications existantes et de développer de nouvelles solutions – y compris des solutions assistées par l’IA – pour permettre à ASTEC Digital de renforcer sa position de leader dans son secteur d’activité.

This acquisition, which served as a starting point for the creation of ASTEC Digital, means the company can now offer a portfolio of state-of-the-art technological solutions to not only the North American market, but to Europe and emerging markets with the creation of ASTEC Digital France (formerly ERMIIS, a MINDS subsidiary since 1986). “Trends are pointing towards growth, namely for exports”, explained Sylvian Lemouzy, General Manager. “We were already active in this field, but the integration of ASTEC Digital has provided us with an actual export office, whose activities account for 20 to 25% of our sales right now”, he added.

Development and Collaboration: A Winning Combination

While there is already a robust European market, ASTEC Digital France, which is responsible for distributing ASTEC Digital technologies outside North America, has made decent headway in Australia, Latin America, South Africa, and Morocco. What’s more, collaboration between the mainland France and United States offices has resulted in a unified delivery of technologies, including state-of-the-art solutions such as LiveLoader, LiveTank, PlantManager, and many more. “By enabling them to monitor the status of their plant and manufacturing in real time, these apps are a real bonus for our clients and put us a step ahead of our competitors”, mentioned Sylvain Lemouzy.

What’s more, ASTEC Digital’s automation systems are highly adaptable, making them especially attractive within the industry. “We’re a leader in the field because we’ve been able to take the best of our competitors’ products and optimize our solutions to make them adaptable to all brands and all types of plants,” Mr. Lemouzy added.

With an integrated portfolio of world-class advanced technologies and smart tools supported by the expertise of an experienced team, the future is looking bright for ASTEC Digital. The offices on both sides of the Atlantic are currently working towards the implementation of a joint IT system responsible for continuously upgrading existing apps and developing new solutions—including AI-assisted solutions—to help ASTEC Digital maintain its position as a leader in its activity sector.
